Hi John,

I turned off Printer Watcher and now (my work station is next to the 
3800) ever little bit I hear the printer whir and the head move.  Not 
sure what is going on but I suspect you are correct.  (and the 
intervals seem quite frequent)  By the way, there is no lever to 
allow the print heads to be moved manually off the capping station on 
this printer model.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
