Digital BW, The Print

Thanks for the advice on the Gretag Eye One Design. Does anyone have any
recommendations the Gretag Eye One Photo or the Color Vision Pro 2 for
making paper profiles in Black and White and color?

  I own it (bought it only for the spectro), and the 45 patches that it
  uses will not make a decent printer profile on any paper that I tried.
  You should be able to use the spectro with the free Argyll CMS
  software, but I haven't tried it yet. If you find a used Design for a
  really good price, then it might be worth adding the full RGB or CMYK
  module to make real profiles.
