Re: [Digital BW] Re: innova f-type glossy plus spray

I guess I should have said that it is a thicker version of the old
epson "glossy photo paper". It is a good paper.
What I have is definitely not a bright white paper. Next to premium
luster, it has pleasant creme color, at least in incandescent light.
It is thick, but the surface is exactly like "epson glossy photo
paper" (which is a paper some people like for it's surface...not too
glossy). There was even a piece of hair built into the paper. i dont see
how the gloss differential is subjective however. There is a lot of
gloss diff. Even more than epson ultra premium gloss. I will say that
after applying print sheild, it is much better, and the print sheild
actually improves the surface of the paper. With all of the other
papers I have tried, print sheild shows blobs and spraying artifacts
and made the surface pretty ugly. It's like the makers have figured
the spray into the workflow. With spray there is still gloss
differential after four light coats, but it looks quite good. Better
than any epson paper with spray. Still it would be nice to have a
paper that does not need this step. That would be a "breakthrough".
