Get new carts, start fresh. Those sponges hold a lot of ink, and the two inks will probably intermingle so you'd never know when you were printing with the true ink. Tubing can be flushed with water and sprayed "dry" with condensed air (if you have that red plastic extension which will fit into the tube).
