I have just about decided to close down my chemical darkroom at least for a while. I have actually taken the batteries out of my N90X and it will sit quietly in the closet with only a mild whimper every once in a while. I'd love to have a high end epson for printing, but I think that in order to see how much I like digital printing versus chemical I should start more modestly. Paul R. amongst others has suggested that an Epson C88+ is not a bad place to start. They are also cheap as dirt right now so that is not a bad place to start. I little advice is I may ask. So I have the printer and have not opened the box. It comes with cartridges, but I'm thinking that since this will be dedicated to B&W, it is not worth it to pump any of the color stuff through the lines? What say you? I have read Paul's webpages on the C88. A lot of it I will not really understand until I actually work through it, however, that leads me to my second question. I would like to be able to buy cartridges and refill them myself. Can someone please recommend what I should buy as a starting point? cartridges, inks, quantities, nifty little tools that enable me to refill ink cartridges etc. Please correctly I assume that I am such a digital newbie that the obvious may not be so obvious. Thank You. ;-)Derek
