No one bothers to look into these issues as we're stuck with the procedure and 
consequences anyway.
Steve is right, with a chip exchange/reset the driver won't let you select the other K ink 
media settings, so that's out.
Bill, my RIP still interacts with the chips, a setup for one K will not work with the other. I 
suppose I could start from scratch and build all setups and profiles as MK from the start. 
I'll pass on that for now, that's weeks of work all over again.
Also, x800 carts are much more difficult to deal with than x600s, Walker is pulling ink out 
of x800s and putting in x600 carts, not reusing x800 carts.
I've had to bow to Epson on this one, they've succeeded in dictating my behavior with my 
personal property. One day- Roland, one day...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
