Digital BW, The Print

I currently use CS2, and am considering upgrading to CS3. I have 3 Gigs 
RAM and CS2 will recognize 2 Gigs. My OS is XP home, and the question I 
have is will CS3 recognize 3 Gigs of RAM without going to a 64 bit OS?

I tried Adobe support, and was not sure of their answer as it was from 
a far off place and I don't think they understood my question.
