Hi Richard Whilst I believe it is possible if the formulation of the two inksets is compatible, for example the K3 inks with the Cone K7, and indeed the Cone website suggests this as a solution for printing both B&W and colour from the same printer, I suspect you will find that you use a lot of ink in flushing out the previous inkset each time you change. As a result I am sure that you will very rapidly cover the cost of a second printer just in ink use. Can you perhaps stack your printers so that you can fit several in the same desktop space? I have mine stacked 3 high - 3800 K3, R1800 Cone K7, R220 MIS UT-R2, and apart from juggling USB cables don't have any problems. David Whistance
