My personal experience is that a 2200 that has a fouled cleaning mechanism, a plugged drain tube at the capping station, or a fouled pad in the capping station will clog, no matter what inks are in it, and a clean, working 2200 won't clog with either UT7 or Epson UC. One of my 2200 has had MIS inks for years, without a clogging problem, longest off time about 2 months. Try pulling the carts from both printers and putting the UT7 in the machine that has the color, and the color in the machine that currently has the UT7. If the machine still clogs now that it has colors, it's the machine that needs work... --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "djon43" <djon43@...> wrote: > > Using Epson color pigments with 2200 I've had only one clog in several > years.. three weeks of sitting "on," no problems ...works great for > B&W with QTR... > > HOWEVER MIS UT7 in another 2200 clogs between sessions after sitting > "on" or "off" for a week.
