Re: [Digital BW] Mediastreet cartridges

2007-07-16 by CorrPro96@aol.com

Hi Jenny:

I've had exactly the same problem you describe.
Give Alan Keller a call at 888 633 4295 x12. Tell him you spoke with Richard Massie.

Richard (Brooklyn)

They did send me a new matte black cart which I received today
owever it didn't solve the problem. If I remove the Mediastreet carts
nd reinstall my piezo carts, the printer works perfectly. Any
uggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks,
enny Ellerbe

Have any of you used Mediastreet funnel fill cartridges in a 4000? I
nstalled a set on my printer last Thursday and could not get the
rinter to recognize all the carts at the same time. I contacted tech
upport (through email, the only way to contact them) and spent about 8
ours Friday trying to get these to work. The best I ever got was 7
arts recognized although the matte black one never was. It either
aid "Set Ink Cartridge" or occasionally it would see it but say it was
mpty. Resetting the chip didn't help. I have wiggled every cart up
nd down, left and right, raised and lowered the levers, turned the
rinter on and off, unplugged it, cleaned the chips with alcohol (per
heir instructions) etc. Mediastreet maintains there's nothing wrong
ith the carts and refused to give me an RMA# to return them for a
efund. They did send me a new matte black cart which I received today
owever it didn't solve the problem. If I remove the Mediastreet carts
nd reinstall my piezo carts, the printer works perfectly. Any
uggestions on how to proceed?
