I tried a sample package of Innova Fibaprint Ultrasmooth Glossy on my C86 with the MIS EZ-warm inkset (and photo black). The result was as bad as anything I've seen. The print was solarized, if that's the right term. There is coarse detail and tones, but little or no fine detail. Highlights are blown - paper white. Gloss differential is pretty bad, although I suppose it could be fixed with overspray. Normally I print Silver Rag with this setup and the results are beautiful - great prints without having to tweak the controls at all. So I don't think there is anything wrong with the printer or inkset. I only have three sheets left and don't even know where to start to fix this. I really like the finish of the Innova paper and had high hopes for it. Can it be salvaged? Has anyone used this combination successfully?
