The powerbook is silver, not white.  The white notebooks are the ibooks...
they are sort of brushed white looking to me.  My son is getting one.
Another son has the Ruby imac.  I personally don't like the new imacs,
except the screen but the specs impressed me.

My sons older (like a year) imac also works well enough for black and white
photoshop work when necessary... soft screen though.
