I suppose there is a learning curve those of us who use MIS inks go through that we may not even think much about at this point. The MIS principal once told me that the main difference he found in the pre-loaded carts was that Epson can pull a better vacuum than he could. That is, Epson is able to remove more of the air from the cart. Because there may be some air left in MIS carts, I always store them outlet down and, if they've just arrived in the mail and I want to use them immediately, before I open them I whip them like one does to lower a thermometer reading to force the ink to the outlet.
