Please note: I also posted this on the Epson 4000 Forum, but have not had any responses (it's a little quiet over there). So I apologize in advance for the cross posting. **************** This is really a color question, not B/W, but this group is diverse and there is a lot of expertise here. I am curious if anybody has used the Epson K3 inks or the MIS equivalent (for the 3800 or 4800) in a 4000? Of course, the LLK ink could not be used, since the 4000 driver doesn't recognize a 2nd light black ink, but the ink formulations in the K3's are different and I'd expect they are probably wider gamut. (I know I would need new custom profiles). If you have used them.... Was it an improvement? What about Dmax and overall color gamut? More or less clogging? Other thoughts? Thanks, Lou Dina
