The main purpose of the Y=EZW approach was to allow people who liked the ABW
workflow to use that workflow yet have the advantages of the rip cutting out
all the extra color.  If you use a rip you'll be able to accomplish the same
thing with the full complement of color inks in the printer, but not being
used for B&W work.

There may be profiles already made in the QTR rip that you can use.

QTR may be your best answer if it has the profiles you need already.
