Digital BW, The Print

I haven't heard the problem either...mine is very silent while printing.

Haven't had that problem. Mine makes the usual noises when it's first 
gearing up to print after being turned off but while it's printing I don't 
hear anything like a ticking sound.

I just set up a new Epson pro 3800 printer and it works great EXCEPT
it makes this somewhat annoying TICK sound each time the head makes a
pass. Kind of like being in a room with a clock that has a loud sweep
second hand. My trusty R2400 was much quieter.

Does anyone else out there with a 3800 have this sound issue?
