RE: [Digital BW] profile question

2007-10-26 by Eric Neilsen

Frank, I did not see you mention your OS; MAC, PC? Color Sync or
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR And Vista is different? You can
right click and "install" profiles and depending on some applications you
need to do that. I set up a shortcut on my desktop so I don't need to
navigate to the color profile folder on the Windows XP systems.

You can save them directly to that folder or save to a different download
folder for profiles and then copy or install them. I like to keep them in a
separate download folder with subfolders for supplier; Red River, Cranes,
Epson, Innova, etc. You can also keep the ones you make separate. It might
help down the line when you need to reload them or update them.

Subject: [Digital BW] profile question

hello,
When I download the profiles for the epson papers, or any papers for that
matter, how do I get them from the file I load them to either the QTR or the
epson printer page.

I educated my self on profiles thru several articles being I didn' t get a
response on my post as to learning profiles, but nowhere was it mentioned as
to how they get from one place to the other so they can be used.

thanks
Frank
