Digital BW, The Print

I may want to try the simple green. I'm just wondering if the problem is not somewhere else. I injected some windex 2 nights in a row and rubbed the head on top of a paper towel with windex. I'm still not getting a drop of ink on the paper. If i know that clogs are the problem, i could invest in some empty cartridges and run windex cycle.
The things is that 6 months ago, one head clogged. After running multiple purge cycles, the user said that none of the head printed again, so he put the printer in storage with no cartridges inside.
Could it be an electronic problem?
The printer is acting like it's printing.
I'm not a guru in epson printer. Should i continue the windex or simple green method a while longer?
