John, as a reminder, Epson's "recycling" program appears to simply gather the carts and send them to an incinerator. All municipal recycling programs that I am award of divert material that is to be considered recycled to a secondary use (depending on the type of material...some, like aluminum, can go back to primary use, while plastics usually result in lower grade plastic).
