Another passing thought, one harking back to when most printers were just B&W for document printing. Then, I could buy refill kits that included a little drill bit with a moulded plastic gripper part and a rubber stopper / bung. The idea was that you drilled a hole in the top of the cartridge, refilled it with ink from the large bottle, and then sealed the hole with the stopper. The stopper could then be easily removed when the cart was empty and ready for refilling again. Even a small self tapping screw and plastic washer would suffice to hold when used on pressurised carts, surely?
