RE: Glossy Quality RE: [Digital BW] Re: Damned good glossy prints

Peter, I never really noticed too much of a change in the flattening process
or in mounting. I was referring more to the temp of the air on the surface
while going from wet to dry. I am in the process of setting up some test
printers and I 'll do some glossy papers when I have them up and running.
Until then, I am still a matte kind of guy.

So I plugged in the old mounting press (amazing how dusty it has
gotten). Tried a sheet of Innova Semi Matte. No change. Then I
tried a sheet of Harman. Not sure. I certainly feels different.
(like happens with SG) I think it is a bit more glossy (not what it
needs) I don't have 2 identical prints to compare. Any changes are
fairly subtle side by side comparison of the same print to be sure.
Interesting stuff.
