Digital BW, The Print

I've just tested the new LaSal matte versus my old Kayenta and it is 
very close: making comparisons with my Epson V750 scanner I find that 
LaSal is slightly less bright and has slightly less overall range from 
paper white to d-Max. Anybody have any hard numbers?

IT-8 test files look reasonably alike so that I might not need a new 
profile (my work is not that critical).
