Both MIS and I have found that in some cases poking the poppet valve with a bottom fill adapter does cause it to re-seat better and seal. Given the possibility that these carts will become harder to find, I would save all the old spongeless carts. They can be rinsed out and re-used even with different inks. The small sponge they do have is in the air inlet path. It gets soaked with whatever ink is in the cart, but most of that can be pulled and rinsed out. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
