I've been trying more gloss-type papers with my R220 using the UTR2 inkset and found that it's possible to increase the dmax by using paper type UPGPP, Photo RPM AND checking Super Microweave. Microweave slows things down horribly but with Harman FB AL Gloss I measured 2.38 with the Epson driver. This compares to about 2.17 with microweave unchecked. On Epson Premium Semigloss (a paper I use a lot) Dmax goes up from 2 to 2.18. I'm going to retest trying paper type Ultra Premium Glossy and see what happens. Using the MISPRO inkset I go from 2.17 to 2.28 with the Harmon by checking super microweave (also UPGPP, Photo RPM). I had attempted to use QTR and while high Dmax is possible on regular RC-type papers (up to 2.5) I wasn't able to figure out how to get it to work properly and gave up.
