Everyone My favorite printer is the 2400 and my favorite paper is the Crane Museo Silver Rag. My problem is that they don't seem able to get along. I'm on my third 2400 because of paper feed problems. In every case I have been able, for a while, to feed the Silver Rag (300 gsm) but rarely without special treatment. With my third machine, a replacement refurb, the feed worked well, for a while, but now it refuses to accept the Silver Rag in the rear feed, where it belongs, but accepts it, grudgingly (requiring a slight nudge) in the top feed. From my experience it seems that forcing Silver Rag through the 2400 will, in time, damage the feed mechanism. I hope I am wrong. I would like to know if others are having the same experience or if my experience is just a fluke. Have any of you run a lot of Crane Silver Rag through a 2400? What problems, if any, did you encounter? Olaf [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
