(If you wish to use that slot a message appears stating that you must use the Velvet Fine Art Paper setting.) However, using the rear manual feed slot has not been successful. Again with the Velvet fine Art Paper setting, but not otherwise, the paper feeds but then a paper jam error message appears. Anyway, this paper feed slot is blocked so that it will not accept larger than A4 paper, not even US letter size. This maybe one functional difference with the European model as against the US model. There may be others. I then tried using the Single Sheet Guide with PKN inks and QTR, but this doesn't work, presumably because there is no setting for Velvet Fine Art Paper. Could you please tell me what settings are possible on your R1800 because it might be worth my trying to use the US driver. Thanks, Colin -- Before photography, I looked - now, I see. www.colinconwayphotography.com
