You can find his process here: http://www.lenswork.com/lwsprimer1.htm It is similar to Dan Burkholder's process, but they use different screening technologies. Lenswork uses a 450 line halftone (like a newspaper only MUCH finer) where Dan uses a very high resolution (2400-4800 dpi) stochastic (diffusion dither) bitmap. I have tried his inkjet negatives routine but was not impressed at all (the materials, not the process). I just got an imagesetter negative done last week as a test from one of his recommended sources, Copygraphics in NM (http://www.copygsf.com), and am now waiting for another from another source to check and see which is best. The one I'm waiting for is Ataraxia Studio in PA. They can output 3600 dpi stochastic negs for enlarged contact printing. www.atxstudio.com Rich http://www.rcodaphotography.com
