Digital BW, The Print

Has anyone used an Epson R300 printer for BO printing? 

I have never done BO printing, but I have an old R300 sitting around I 
can't give away, plus a R2200 dedicated to K7 inks, and a R2400 with K3 
inks. I thought I might try the R300 if it would be a good printer for 
this. 

It does allow BO prinitng in the print options. I am not too sure about 
the droplet size or which inks would be best?

Suggestions and pointers on paper, ink, and technique would be 
appreciated.
