Digital BW, The Print

My bad; no paper thickness lever on the 2400. My 1280 has one so I
assumed they were standard on the smaller Epson printers. 

That said, the 2400 manual shows different ways of feeding papers of
varying thicknesses; thick papers feed from the front and standard
papers from the rear. This might be something worth testing.
