Digital BW, The Print

Hi Paul and Scott,

I have been reading from the sidelines on the 1400, and Paul has 
given me some great advice. Since I am new at this, Paul, I need you 
to dumb this down so I can get my head around it all.

I have a set of replacement carts for my 1400 and have done ok with 
black only printing, and keeping the color carts as they came with 
the printer.

I downloaded qtr, and the settings on the program just use the black 
cartridge for the 1400. I am ready to buy ink, but I dont know what 
to do.

So... do I stay with one cart black and white printing,or would 
multiple black carts be more sucessful? And if so, should i buy a 
set of 6 different blacks? and finally, is there a setting in QTR to 
allow you to use the different blacks?
