Digital BW, The Print

My two C86's died last week (almost too strange for coincidence), and
I want to dispose of them properly. 

Does anyone know if:

1) They might have toxic metals etc., like computer monitors, etc, and
should be disposed of in a similar manner?
2) If they have any value (I'd actually give them away minus
cartridges) for spare parts etc?
