With a rip that can handle color, the 1800 has lots of possibilities. However, the Epson drive requires the expected colors to be in their expected places, and QTR does not pass the color information through the rip. It converts to grayscale. (I'd like to see a versionn of Create ICC-RGB that does pass the color information through.) Don't use dyes; Eboni is not compatible with them. I'd recommend you use MIS (or Epson) color pigments that are designed for the 1800 plus the 3-MK. To print glossy, just swap out the MK in the PK spot and do not check "gloss" in the driver. Then the Epson driver will print color as usual, using the PK when a glossy paper type is used. They are more for matte paper without gloss optimizer.
