Digital BW, The Print

I have an Epson 2200 and am very happy with the color results I've
been able to achieve with it, but now I wish to do more black & white
printing without setting up a wet darkroom.

Browsing earlier messages here there seems to be many who say "don't
bother" and others who point to exotic software and third party ink
sets.   Maybe it would be easier to set up a darkroom after all :(.

Is there a modestly priced printer for sizes up to 11x14 with which it
is relatively easy to achieve great B&W results?
