Don't spend any more on printer for now. I've been using a 2100 - same as the 2200 but for some reason America likes to have different names for everything (even Harry Potter books - it's one of the world's puzzles for me) ... with Quad Tone Rip ($50) you will get excellent BW results with Ultrachrome inks on mat paper. If you want to use lustre paper you'll have to use spray to get rid of the bronzing. It's a better printer than people give it credit for, with Epson inks. I print for people who want A3+ exhibition prints and they're all happy. I do need to upgrade, but more for size than anything. BW prints are perfectly good with Quadtone Rip. Feel free to email me about it.
