Quite a while ago, I'd found an estimate on the Piezography/inkjetmall.com
site that claimed $0.50 per 8x10.  Oddly, that page is no longer there --
but Google still has it in its cache.  Here's what it used to say:

^^^that's the URL that I got the cached copy from (you'll probably have to

Anyway, I've used this fifty-cent estimate as a working cost.

Anyone else have estimates?
