I don't have any way to quantify how much more color ABW uses over QTR, but a quick look at a scan of an "neutral" ABW test print scan on page 1 of http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/R1800-Lightfastness.pdf indicates that Epson uses yellow as well as the cyan and magenta. This high gamut yellow warms up the print significantly, and this additional warmth over the naturally somewhat warm carbon requires that much more C & M to cool it down. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
