So….how do I use the new StudioPrint to make B&W density measurements for linearization ? Knowing that, it’s simple to plug the values into QTR and create a curve.

When the printer manages color it's still doing a conversion, so can 
still use a rendering intent. When there is no color conversion (as 
when a target is printed), there can be no intent used either.
