Steve, The thing to look out for is paper dust. So wrap up the roll where you are not going to cut it well to help mitigate the amount of paper dust that gets around. If you have a compressor, I'd blow it off before you bring it around your printer. You should have no problem with a 200T thin kerf blade. I got a free roll of 100'L 44" W rag paper but my Canon IPF6100 has a 24" W carriage. Does anyone know if I can use a finetooth 200T 12 in. carbide blade to cut the roll to 24"W, and a custom 19&7/8" (because of blade kerf) or 17" W? I'm thinking it would burn the paper edge because tight paper would be more dense than (porous) wood, so I would have to then cut ~ 1/8" off the burnt edge after the print is made for a 23&7/8"W print. Anyone ever try this? Thanks in advance! SteveB [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
