Thanks for your prompt response, Gary. I'm concerned too about the threat from wetness. I've always avoided rainy weather (no snow where I live), but I haven't been worrying about condensation. Now that I am, I'm curious to know whether you were wearing the battery grip (BG-E6) on the bottom of your 5D2, and whether you ever noticed condensation with your "old" camera(s)? I never have, in the several years I've been trying to learn photography, and I usually get a good look after I come in from shooting, because I take off whatever lens was on and even take the filter off it (for cleaning) before storing everything separately (in neoprene bags).
