Well the idea was theoretically to create a 6 tone monochrome inkset for the Z3100, not small Epson printers which I have no interest in. There is no LLK in the Vivera set. You have PK, Gray, and Light gray. It is a very, very good tri tone and uses no composite color pigments, but I was theorizing more very light grays in a PK inkset, run out of Studio Print. On gloss papers like Photorag Baryta, these inks are the perfect neutral color. j --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "pr_roark" <pr_roark@...> wrote: > > "john dean" <deanwork2003@> wrote: > > > Paul, > > > > What would happen if you simply used the Vivera glop as a base > > and didn't add anything to it but the dilute light gray? > > I don't know, but it would not satisfy the cheap side of me. > > If you're going to go with HP pricing, why not just use their LLK? > > Note that some have used HP PK diluted with MIS Glop and found that it has less bronzing. > > Paul > www.PaulRoark.com >
