I've never heard of any of the book printing companies offering anything like this. They'd have to coordinate printing parts of the book on multiple printers and then manually put them all together. It would become a very expensive proposition.
If you want to test something like this, order a small dimension, soft cover book with the number of pages fitting within their minimum price category, and order it on separate papers, and if offered, different printing methods. For example, Blurb's current pricing for a 7"x7" softcover book up to 40 pages long is $13.
