Hi folks:

I recently wrote an article on Pixiq.com about the new Epson Stylus Photo R3000:

I can't say for sure what I think of it until I test one, but from the specs it looks like an impressive printer. In the article, I note some of the differences and similarities between it and the Stylus Pro 3880:

looks *can* be deceiving

Hi Harry:

I can't say for sure but I can make comments like "it looks like a great printer," after using a Stylus Pro 3800 and 3880 for years and carefully looking over the specs.

For those thinking of buying a 13-inch-wide printer in the upcoming months, it might make sense to wait for it. That's why I think a short review based on specs is not a bad thing to share.

I use the 3800 also and I really like it.  I also print with a Canon i9900 and I like it as well.  I'd hate to have to give either one up.  

If and when you try the 3000, I'll be very interested in a comparison with the 3800.  Unless I could get one awfully cheap tho, I doubt if I'd replace my 3800.  I like the nice "out of the box" B/W I keep getting from it. :-)  Harry
