Choice of flatbed scanner

Choice of flatbed scanner

2013-03-24 by bakerstrten1

Hi

I have mastered EB6 and my 1430 printer with the supplied profiles. I would now like to try to make curves/profiles for other paper.

Regarding the use of a flatbed scanner to read the stepwedge; will any scanner do eg bottom of the line Epson photo scanner?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a suitable cheap scanner?

Thanks

Michael

Consider used; I got an Epson 4870 for $75 on ebay a couple of years ago.
VueScan by Hamrick Software does a great job of driving it.

The one I used in the example here --

(Epson Perfection V33).

Check the Epson Clearance Center

There are usually several models available and you can check the specs these come with the same warranty as a new unit and shipping is free.
