Pinhole day aye? Sounds kinda kinky. just messin..  

 

OT to this topic..  you recall our canvas conversation.. I'm in the middle
of a profile building exercise here that has me on my knees.. I stepped off
the edge of the earth and choose to continue with Fredrix's  which you can
only now get thru Lexjet.. duh.. What a journey.. Anyway, I received a
pallet of 16 rolls from 24" to 60" .. Shipping was crap so I have some
damage ( and teaching)  I'm dealing with now.  Anyway they did indeed raise
the bar.  I like printing typically on a matt canvas then spraying with a
semi gloss aqueous coating.. it's just worked out to be a good place for me.
So I'm in the middle of profiling for the Canon & Epson printers ..  pre
coating and after coating.  Then I get to do Jon's inks on this stuff (
which by the way I felt the old version did great for B&W prints on canvas)
.  So I'll be hopping for a bit. I think I like the canvas..  I have one
roll of their new  coated gloss canvas that I could never get the inks to
lay down right from the Canon on the old version.. I ran a swatch set that
looks good .. So all new coatings.. more to follow I'm in the middle..  but
I think I'm ok.

With my Rolleis and Linhofs collecting dust, I think it's time for me to

Yup I agree , but it's a sign of the times with everything that is going on
with digital. Sadly we'll likely see more of it as time goes on..
