I am printing w/an epson 1270 on epson archival matte paper.
On the printer source, pritable area, both centered and maximum are
selected. However when I print, the image is not centered on the
paper. What do I have to do, to get the image to print centered?
Thanks in advance to all those responding. Mike

I was noticing this over the weekend when doing some testing with a friend.
Have you tried going into the printer driver and manually moving things
around until you finally get it centered by trial and error? Just a
thought. (I don't have a 1270 but I am guessing its driver has these
features too).

Are you printing with the Epson driver or Piezo?

If piezo, the inkjetmall site has a whole set of instructions for
dealing with this. I deal with it by setting the paper size to
8.5x11.3 and check centered in the piezo screen.

If this is with the epson drivers, do you have the latest driver for
your OS?...there is a pretty new W2K driver, for instance.

when you check center and maximum do you have the correct paper size
selected?

Did the printer ever center correctly...if not, again, I would delete
and reinstall the epson software.

Cheers,

Tom O'Connell

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
