Greeting from your friendly neighborhood lurker, I have a simple question....I Have 1280 with MIS VM ink, I am having a problem with the curves which I am working on...I switched from a 1520 to the 1280, I think my inks are in the wrong position. Which is the darker ink in this ink set, the cyan or the magenta Thank you, Deborah Betz

Deborah, The cyan in the MIS VM inkset is the darkest gray, about 83% as dark as the 100% black. The magenta position is the bluish toner. I'll send a scan of the purge pattern done on a 1290 with MIS VM inks. (Perhaps we should post this, as well as the Purge pattern that produced it, since MIS appears to have changed the cyan to blue in it's posted purge pattern.)
