MIS and Pixels

2002-08-29 by norman sams

This is my first day working with MIS variable-mix inks in my Epson 870,
so maybe I'm
missing something. But in every black and white print (same photo) I've
made today I can see the pixels...just about every one of the little
bastards. I'm
using the Roark curves. (Not that the lack of quality of the prints has
anything to do with him). The same photos look FINE (no pixels) when
printed in
black-and white with Epson inks. Printing at 1440 dpi makes no real
difference. Anyone else come across this phenomenon?

Resolution is 256 pixels/inch.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
