Jamie, I use the Epson Driver. Too many problems with the early piezo system. Ink was brown, faded browner, lots of software bugs, etc. Haven't yet had any major problems with MIS VM inks. But the VM inks Black position ink isn't nearly as black as Generations Enhanced black. No matter what Ink I use in the future, if the black ink isn't as black as the generations, I'll just substitute the generations ink for whatever black is in that inkset. I've seen several piezotone prints now, and on photorag paper, the black seems about as black as the generations enhanced black. But not on all papers. So th VM cooltone variable mix with generations black is my current favorite ink. I like Photo Matte, (Brilliant white), Eclipse Satine, and Epson Archival Matte papers the best. Photo rag is a great paper, but a little warm for me, plus it's very expensive. Royal Riviera is nice, if you like heavily textured papers. Jerry Jamie Gannon wrote:
