New software for Minolta scanners

New software for Minolta scanners

2002-09-13 by culturalvisions

The new version of Minolta scanning software has been
available for free download on the

http://www.minoltaeurope.com

site for a week now, but I hadn't noticed it appearing on the USA
site. This is a great, and much needed, improvement for the
Minolta Multi Pro 4800dpi scanner. It adds new manual
exposure controls and seems to scan color and b+w negatives
vastly better than the original version. Histograms are no longer
clipped and grain aliasing seems to be history.

It is designed for all Minolta scanners. It looks like I can stop
using Vuescan, but I have not really put the software through a
series of tests yet.

Hi Frank,

we are waiting for your opinion on the MultiPro group at Yahoo!
<smile> Yor words: "Hitting a controller funktion is like resetting
etc" is away.
A nice piece of soft - indeed.
Away are the "gritteness" and "oversensitive to scratches". etc etc.
Manual exposure and more goodies!

Fiat Lux!
Bo

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
