Hi Bob,
I scan as "color negative" - using "Negafix" profiles provided in Silverfast
Ai 5.5 - and then convert to grayscale later. I do major tonality
adjustments in Silverfast and tweak in Photoshop later if necessary. I
usually rate the film at 320 ISO (to get better shadow detail). I strongly
recommend that you read the film's datasheet on Ilford site (URL:
http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/pdf/XP2SGB_QX.pdf).
